These Rhodochrosite specimens come from a small pocket in Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais. Rhodochrosite is quite rare in Brazil, and records of its extraction in Coronel Murta are exceedingly scarce. In 2023, our Brazilian partners discovered a few of these Rhodochrosite specimens from this pocket, which are often associated with feldspar and mica, adding new treasures to Brazil's mineral catalog!
